The changes in an Info window can be saved as a droplet to automate changes you make on a regular basis.

To create an Info window droplet:

1. Open an Info window for an item like those you wish to change with the droplet.
2. Make the desired changes in the window as if you were going to make the changes to the item, but don't actually apply or save them.
3. Click the Droplet item in the Info window's toolbar, or use the File Save Droplet command.
4. Provide a name for the droplet and click Save.

Info window droplets can be configured after they have been created to control the items to which they apply their changes. To configure an Info window droplet, double-click the droplet to launch it. Choose the Preferences command to open the preferences window and customize the available settings. One of the more important settings is the Modify items inside folders option. If this option is on, File Buddy will apply the scheduled changes to items inside folders which are opened in the droplet. If the option is off, the changes are only applied to the items actually dragged to the droplet.
